I bought these to twist into a crude Kindle Fire holder for my steering wheel. I have to wait between picking up kids at schools and usually sit and read on my Kindle for a half hour or so. I'd get a headache from bending my head down to read when the Kindle was in my lap, and there was no way to balance it on the steering wheel. I did some research to see what was available for book holders, and was fortunate enough to stumble across a youtube video that recommended buying one of these and twisting it to make one. It works perfectly!! Now the Kindle is at eye level and I don't get any strain when I'm reading. My son wanted the second one in the package because he said it was fun to play with. For the price, he can have it.

CMS Magnetics® Lot 2 Grade N50 Neodymium Magnets 1"x1"x1/2" Review

I haven't even received them yet, but I'm super excited. These are the biggest Neos I'll have ever owned. That said, these things are NOT toys. If your finger gets caught between them, you will have a force of 118 pounds crushing it! Thats enough to break the bone in your finger and probably tear off most of the skin. Anyone who buys these please make sure you know what you are doing, and never store them or use them near one another unless you KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

UPDATE:
The magnets took a few days to process, but shipped insanely fast. Estimated arrival was between the 16th-21st, they arrived early on the 16th. They came very well packaged, with separators between them. They are much more powerful than even I imagined, far stronger than any other Neodymium I own. I stuck one in an old shirt and then to a small anvil I own (30 pounds) and then lifted the anvil with no effort on the magnet's part. I even shook the anvil in mid-air in an attempt to get it to fall off the magnet and it would not. these things are amazingly strong, and dangerous. I've already pinched the fleshy part of one of my fingers between them while attempting to store them back together (using a piece of cardboard and the two PVC separators.) please use caution with these magnets if you order them. I would definitely recommend CMS magnets (the company) to others and I plan to do a lot more business with them in the future.

N48 Neodymium magnets are really strong. I use them to hold multiple pages of the same things to the frig for reference. How strong are they you ask? Well with the 1/8 thickness there're too strong to pull from the frig with thick fingers. So I tied some stiff fishing line to the rings that easily pulls them off. Also you can hang things on the line if you tie to rings together. This is great for this time of year. If you want strong frig magnets I recommend the ring type for the line tie.
